PROCEDURE FOR DRAWING STATIONERY
The process of Registration, Indenting and Supplementary Indenting are explained in brief as under:-

A | For initial registration, download and fill up the form duly signed and stamped and send the same to GISO, Kolkata via post and email to dca.giso@nic.in |
B | After successful registration, a Sanction Order will be sent to the Indentors. Now fill up Annual Indent Form send the same to concerned Stationery Drawing Depots |
C | Zone-wise Price List will guide to ascertain the cost of the stationery items. |
D | Supplementary Indent Form may be used to demand those items, which are left in Annual Indent Form |
- The Indenters are classified into three (3) categories as follows:-

1 | All Central Govt. Offices/Departments/Ministries under Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Telecommunication, Postal Department and Ministry of Railways. These Department’s/ Ministries has their own setup for procurement of Stationery | Paying Indentros. They need to pay against the supply of Stores through NEFT or RTGS |
2 | All Central Govt. Offices/Departments/Ministries other than above mentioned Department. This office i.e. GISO is responsible for supply of stationery items | Non-Paying Indentors |
3 | All CPSE, PSU, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies etc. etc. | Advance Paying Indentors |
- The process of procuring stationery items from this office is very convenient because multiple items can be procured by dropping an Annual Indent Form. Thus Indenters can avid ordering cost and save time and resources. It is economical because GISO procuring bulk items to reap the most economical cost, ensured quality as all items meet BIS Standard Specification and passed only after strict quality assurance.
